• Phishing, malware, viruses, or any other malicious software.
• Content that promotes illegal activities, fraud, violence, or hate speech.
• Spam campaigns, deceptive link routing, or unauthorized advertising.
• Material that violates third-party intellectual property or copyright laws.

2. Link Expiry and Database Storage

We strive to provide lightning-fast, persistent link resolution. However, we reserve the right to delete or disable any shortened link at our discretion, without prior notice, if we find it violates our Acceptable Use Policy, receives high volumes of abuse reports, or remains inactive for extended durations under anonymous accounts.

3. Service Availability and Disclaimer

Shorten is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. While we leverage high-performance database caches and robust edge redirections targeting sub-20ms resolution speeds, we make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding 100% uninterrupted service uptime, data persistence guarantees, or absolute fitness for specific integration requirements.

4. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Shorten, its developers, or its contributors be held liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data, profit, or business interruption) arising out of the use, misuse, or inability to use the redirection services, even if notified of the possibility of such damage.

5. Terms Updates

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. When updates occur, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. Continued use of Shorten constitutes your explicit acceptance of the revised terms.
